After the Black Friday weekend of several online discounts,nearly 90% of

retailers will offer special deals to entice shoppers to buy on cyber monday.

Up to 700 retailers plan to offer dramatic discounts on shop.org website cybermonday.com.

Consumers who want to participate can sign up before hand to recieve e-mail alerts about promotions ,on the site,that will last for one hour,one day or whole week.Some promotions

MAJOR EARTHQUAKE HITS NEW ZEALAND

CURFEW IMPOSED IN CHRISTCHURCH,NEW ZEALAND

Major earthquake 4th of september 4.30am.

A major earthquake measuring 7, on the richter scale , hit Christchurch Zealand at 4.30am (16.35 GMT)today. There has been no fatalities, apparently because most people were in bed when it struck.

A curfew was imposed on the city's residents of 372,000, between 7pm tonight to 7am tomorrow. The authorities are battling hard to restore water, power and telephone services in the city.

Some eighty police officers were sent from Auckland to the south island to help deal with fighting, serious back logs at petrol stations and traffic jams as people try to leave the city.

According to mayor Bob Parker, the scale of what happened is enormous. Earthquake commission chief executive Ian Simpson estimates the damage could be New Zealand $2billion ($1.6billion US)

The Prime Minister John Key visited the city in the afternoon to assess the damage.

The last major earthquake to hit New Zealand was in 1931, richter scale 7.8, which hit Hawke's Bay area.

Michael Buble',smooth singing and dancing entertainer announced last friday he will marry his girlfriend next year.She is Luisana Lopilato,23, actress and model.He will tie the knot in her native Argentina.

He has already bought a house in north Buenos Aires and is now learning Spanish.

Buble' who is now 34,met her at a concert in Buenos Aires in 2008.They have starred together in the video for the song HAVEN'T MET YOU YET. She inspired him to write the song.

Buble' is from Vancouver Canada.They will split their time between Canada and Argentina.

She was a member of the pop group Erreway which disbanded in 2005,and has starred in films and telenovelas.Expect a duet from the two.

This was his 17th home run of the season.

Babe Ruth made 600 home runs at the age of 36 and accumulated 714 runs in his whole career.

Jim Thome has so far made 577 home runs,he is the closest to 600 home runs of the active players.

A.Rod,the youngest MLB player to make this remarkable achievement,plays for the New York

Yankees.They were playing against the Blue jays when he made his mark.

The ford explorer came to the market with lots of publicity.Major events were staged at the Launch in New York,Chicago,Dearbon,Venice beach California and Oshkosh Wis.Face book chats were also staged.

The explorer is offered in three equipment levels-Base,XLT, & Limited with a 3.5litre engine V6 which is 20% more fuel efficient than the current/previous model.The other engine option will be a 2litre I-4 naturally aspirated V6 with237HP @ 5500rpm and torque of 250lb-ft.The 2litre engine will be as fuel efficient as a 2010 Toyota Camry V6 Sedan.

The transmission is a 6 speed automatic on the base version.The XLT and Limited models will feature the select Automatic with steering wheel mounted toogle switches.

The interior is higher quality and safety is topnotch.Safety features include 2nd generation first row airbags,sideseat airbags,SOS post-crash Alert System,energy management system pretensioning,safety canopy,adaptive cruise control and collision warning.

The price is yet to be set.It looks good.

ALIEN SWARM

Alien swarm was released monday 19/7/2010 by Valve corporation.

It is a remake of the Alien swarm mod for unreal tournament of 2004. The original team developed it.

This game can be played by up to four (4) players in a co-operative game,progressing through science fiction levels, killing aliens using 40 strong arsenal of weapons.

The game is free (freeware)

Valve has been known to hire entire teams of developers to design its games,so you can be sure no expense was spared here.

The game has association with the movie Ben 10. Lead actor is Ben 10 played by Ben Tennyson
